Programs Funded by the Felida Elementary PTA:
Art Adventure
An eight month program (Oct-May) where parent volunteers come teach children once a month about different artists and help them create a work of art. Donations of funds or art supplies is greatly appreciated.
Battle of the Books
A four month program where children grades 3-5 read from a list of books and compete in lunch time battles for the title of champion. Donations help fund book prizes and celebration supplies.
Bingo Night
Prizes, Gift Cards, and in-kind donations to support one of our largest fundraisers of the year.
School related donations that can be brought directly to the school.
Custodial Staff
Looking to get rid of old towels with holes or stains? Why not donate them to our Custodians?
Kindergarten Learning Stations
Kindergarten teachers rotate through different learning stations and are always looking for new dress up clothes, art supplies, and learning games for students.
Makerspace
We are looking to expand our learning opportunities in the Felida Elementary library by introducing a Makerspace – a place where students can build, tinker, and experiment.
The Makerspace will be used for engineering challenges, re-enforcing science lessons from class, or free play at recess. It will not replace reading, computer lessons, or book checkout time.
We want to start the space by collecting materials and here’s where you can help. If you have building blocks, logic puzzles/games, Legos, even crafter materials that are not being used at home, we’d love to collect them and add them to our space. If you’re not sure if something is what we’re looking for, ask - we can probably find a use for it! If you have any questions, please contact our Teacher Librarian Ms. Iverson.
